2 BHK from Chandivali to Powai

A family of four, 34 cartons, a double bed, a six-door wardrobe, fridge, washing machine and a glass crockery showcase. The old building had a small lift, so the wardrobe and bed were opened upstairs and carried down in parts. The showcase glass was taken out separately and crated. Packing started at 8 in the morning, loading finished by 1, and by 8 at night the beds were fixed and the kitchen boxes were open so the family could cook.

Time taken: One day, 5 men and one tempo

18-seat office in Sakinaka

The company could not lose a working day, so we packed on Saturday afternoon and shifted the same night. Each person's computer, keyboard and drawer went into one labelled box, and files were packed department wise in numbered cartons with a list. Workstations and partitions were opened, carried and refixed as per a floor plan the manager gave us. On Sunday evening the team came in, checked their seats, and Monday started normally.

Full home from Andheri East to Pune

The customer had to join a new job in Pune, so he flew out on the day of packing itself. We made a signed goods list of 52 items, sealed the truck in front of the society watchman, and shared photos of the loaded truck with him. His brother received the goods in Pune the next morning, checked the same list item by item, and our team unpacked and refixed the furniture there.

Bike from Mumbai to Nagpur

A customer was moving to Nagpur by train and did not want to ride 800 km. We picked up the bike from his society parking, noted the existing scratches with him, drained the tank to nearly empty and wrapped the handle, mirrors and tank. It travelled tied on a carrier and was delivered to his new address, with photos shared before loading and after delivery.

Packing job in Ghatkopar

The customer had already booked a tempo through his society at a good rate and only wanted the packing done properly, because he had lost crockery in an earlier shift. We packed the whole kitchen, a glass dining top, a 55-inch TV and all the clothes, labelled every box, and loaded his tempo. He drove with it himself and unpacked over the weekend.

Sofa and almirah, 4th floor in Kurla

No shifting, no vehicle — a family was only changing flats inside the same building, but the lift did not take a three-seater sofa or a full steel almirah. Four of our men wrapped both pieces, took the sofa up the staircase turn by turn, and placed the almirah exactly where the lady of the house wanted it. Nothing touched the walls, which was her main worry.
